WANTED – Island Caretaker Helpers! Update

Hi everybody, a big thank you for the overwhelming response to this amazing competition!

If you haven’t already, make sure you get your entries in to win the Best Experience in the World and become an Island Caretaker Helper.

Not only will you be helping me explore the islands and telling the world about your experiences, you and three of your mates will be living it up for seven weeks amongst the Great Barrier Reef, all expenses paid! It doesn’t get much better than that. If you can’t spare the full seven weeks not to worry, I’ll put together a tailored itinerary for as long as you can stay.

To complete your entry successfully you have to answer the two easy questions and enter the name and email of the three mates you ‘might’ bring with you.

Speak to you all soon and good luck

Hola hola Ben :) (that’s hello hello in Spanish)
My name is Arlena Heguiabehere, I’m 19 and I’m from Argentina.
Im just writing to let you know that I’d give anything just to be there in the Amazing land down under helping you. I am a very easy-going person who does whatever you need. I really don’t care if I have to clean, wash the dishes or whatever It’s required. I’d do anything to win the possibility to go back to Australia.
    I’m in love with it.
I had the great opportunity to go on a three-month Rotary exchange on 2007 and let me tell you I had the best time ever! As I said, I fell in love with Australia, its culture and scenery. However, what I loved the most was how people received me. I respect Australian people a lot and like being between them.
Please, please, please Ben!!!!!!! I miss my host-families a lot & urgently need to give them a big hug!
I promise to be the best Island keeper and to take very nice friends with me. We would be an excellent team! :)

All the best & please think of me for this job,

I welcome, Ben. To me 21 yo, male.

I am energetic, like to explore and open something new, great deal able and yet more wish a great deal to learn!!! I like to take pictures, search landscape… I adore active rest, possess excellent fantasy and the same sense of humour (so friends tell me:) I like the living world (primordial and unbelievable) and feeling of freedom…

I live in Russia, and more precisely – on Altai. A lot of mountains, rivers, forests, lakes, wonderful places… not by hearsay also acquainted and with work of explorer on the most wild places, where on the hundred of km around there is not civilization. One embarrasses me – folded so, that never saw an ocean and wonders
of other corners of earth, in fact every place one’s own way perfectly.

Wisdom says of that best of all a man does to, that likes him, and I feel SUCH work certainly will please me ^_^

    Hola Ben!

First of all, Congratulations on your job! Kudos on the great job you are doing! Your enthusiasm for the job is contagious. I would like to be one of your Island Caretaker helpers. I, myself, grew up in the Island of Puerto Rico, a few blocks away from the Atlantic Ocean. I spend a lot of my childhood frolicking an playing in the Caribbean Sea as well. I know all about Barrier Island reefs having played and explored these magnificent as a young child and teenager. I have an Islander mindset. I have traveled to Europe and have been in the Canary Islands Archipelago, and the Caribbean.

I have experience in the Tourism Industry having worked in five starts Ocean resorts. I’m an avid outdoors person. l love working and exploring the outdoors. This past June, I climbed the Gross Pitons in Saint Lucia; and, this Fall, I have climbed some of the High Peaks in the Adirondacks Park in New York.

I have a background in Biology and Political Science; great trades to have when working with nature and people. Seriously, will love to be one of your Island Caretaker Helpers! I am young, physically fit and experienced. A tough cookie, like the say here in the States. So how about bringing on to work with you a Caribbean Islander with the Australian Aussies? Sound like a great pairing! Looking forward to hear from you,
    Ivonne
